Having a weird issue..
Selecting a season under the shows list i get the following :
E01 - Emissary Search Watch
1992/12/30 (Aired)

"summary here"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

E03 - Past Prologue Search Watch

1993/01/10 (Aired)
"summary here"

you will notice that E02 is not shown anywhere... the final plan is to merge E01 and E02, but even after adding the rule, the rename check doesnt return a result.

I tried a force refresh on both the season as well as the show, but nothing changes.
I had this issue in previous versions, and the only way i resolved it was to flush the cache and start again.
Unfortunately my cache is getting rather big, and takes at least 40 minutes to download again(remember my number of shows :).

Please advise

thx

What's the show (or thetvdb.com id code) that's doing this? Is episode two missing, even without the merge rule?

Ok.. Figured out its DS9.. Have a look at thetvdb.com for that show here:

http://thetvdb.com/?tab=season&seriesid ... 3443&lid=7

They're missing S01E02 there, so tvrename isn't going to know about it.

From here, you can either
1) create an account at thetvdb.com and add the missing episode to the database yourself, or:
2) put in an "Insert" rule before your merge rule, to add the missing episode in.

Option 1 is the best, since it supports and improves thetvdb, who very kindly make all this data available for free. If you go for option #1, the changes will show up in tvrename the next time it grabs an update, or if you do a force refresh DS9 (on the right-click menu for it, in "My Shows").
