SOLVED: Problem with Move/Copy in Finding and Organising

FIRST RULE OF COMPUTING: If nothing else works reboot! Crazy but works perfectly now!

First off I have been using the app for just a day, but wow, it's a great addition to my workflow, a donation will be on it's way shortly. Now onto my problem... I have an Unraid server where I not only download TV content, but I also store the content there in final organized form. So I am downloading into "//tower/disk14/downloading/complete/" but my shows will eventually reside in "//tower/disk2/". So I use Finding and Organising to look at the download folder and then I'd like to move them to the destination, I choose to Copy (for now just in case something went wrong, which it did).

It starts the copy process, but nearly all files only go a small percentage before moving onto the next file. All I find in my network shares is a bunch of small temp files. The error I get in the Errors column is "The specified network name is no longer available", but indeed it is. In fact the last test I did was to copy a 50GB bluray image while the copy was going on and using a standard Windows copy, the bluray disc copied, but I still had the same failures in TV Rename.

I don't know what it could be if all you are doing is a standard copy routing. In any case, if you don't know what it is, is there any way you could include a third option besides Move and Copy? I would at least like it to rename the files in the temporary download directory so I can use a file move script within the unraid system (which will just be moving the data from one disc to another without needing to use the network at all)...

Thanks for everything!

EDIT: Should mention I have tried both 2.1 and 2.1.1a...

Good to hear you got it sorted out.

I'm not using the standard built-in windows copy functionality, as I wanted to be able to give better feedback while the files were copying, and well as have the "Pause" button. Those temporary files are what TVRename copies/moves to, only renaming that to the final filename (and deleting the original if it is in "move" mode) once the operation is successful. This avoids having files that look like the target file, but might only be half-sized if the operation failed part-way through.

For your moving script, have a look at Preferences->Automatic Export->Finding & Organising->XML in the latest alpha. That'll export an XML list of what to do, and I think that'll have enough information to let you do whatever local processing you want. If not, I can easily add a "rename without copying or moving" mode to F&O.
