2.1.1a6 rename gets it wrong to often....

when running the rename I have started seeing lots of shows that the series numbers are off by one.

the originals are correct but the program wants to rename and change the series and episode to an incorrect one.
I have had to disable renaming on several shows and there seems to be more all the time.

Can you change the program to leave the numbers alone and just add names or some other idea?

Without a specific example, I can only give a general answer of things to check.

If you look at the show's "Episode guide" on the "My Shows" tab, and visit the show's page at http://thetvdb.com, are they ok or wrong? If someone has moved the episodes around on thetvdb, then it'll want to renumber everything on your computer, as tvrename works on the season+episode number it finds in the filenames. If that is the case, you can add a rule to the affected season, and insert/remove episodes to get the downloaded data from thetvdb back into sync with what you think it should be.
