Hey Steve, well done on the 2.0 release!
Trying out 2.0.1 on a bunch of All Saints downloads (for the wife, really!).
Original Filename is like: all.saints.s11ep15-ws.xvid-mp3-[kittecat].mkv

When it's like that ^^ the file doesn't get picked up in any of the Finding/Organising, Renaming or Missing Episodes functions.
Simply renaming s11ep15 to s11e15 works a treat.

I know you're working on including user-specified RegEx's for a future release, so no great rush. But perhaps this is something you could include in your default set.

Cheers and keep up the great work :)

Yep, I can make it pick up that style easily. I think I'll bump up my priority of doing custom regexps, too. I think as more people start to use this program, its going to hit more and more variety of styles. (Likewise with the styles to put names into after renaming.)

If you're after a program to do mass renaming of files, along the lines of "Turn 'ep' into 'e'", then have a look at 1-4a rename. It may not be the prettiest program around, but it does a good job, and is freeware. Its got lots of other advanced renaming magic in it, too.

Another brilliant file renamer that I use is Ant Renamer - it's all manual (doesn't get stuff from the net, I mean) but with heaps of variations on how to manipulate the files. Not only is it freeware, but it is open source as well, so if you are a programming tinkerer you can have a look how he did it. Ant also does a useful Movie database as well.
