File Renaming Addition

The file renaming options are good, but the addition of replacing spacebar with . and also turning the whole thing into uppercase or lowercase would be nice (mostly used for when copying files to linux based server).

I promised a while ago to extend the "Filename character replacements" to let you turn anything into anything, rather than just restricted characters. I'll bump it up my priority list a bit. In the meantime, have a look at point #2 in the last post in this thread.

Replacing spaces with dots and forcing lowercase is now in the latest alpha, if you want to try it out.

If you need this i use a nice litte program called "ant renamer" it can rename just about anyway you want..

It can rename just folder just file upercase lowercase replace string etc.

I'm using this file renamer, need to upgrade. Which to use, tvrename or antrenamer?? Still looking for decisive factors! have heard positive stories around both but yet have questions. Where to ask?? Looking for customization & hybrid compatibility.
