At the moment, subtitle files will only be renamed or moved if they are with an identically named video file, and that video file is also needing to be named/moved at the same time.

A subtitle file in a folder (without a video file) won't make the episode be not missing. In the preferences dialog, extensions like srt, sub, etc. should not be in the list of extensions, or you will get other bad side effects.

For find&organise to move the subtitle file, all the following have to happen:
- The video file has to be found as missing (and show up in the missing list)
- Find&organise has to find the file with a 'video' extension (as defined in the preferences).
- The option "Copy/move files with same base name" has to be turned on in preferences.
- The subtitle file has to have the same "base" filename as the video file (i.e. up to the first "." in it), e.g.: "My Show - 1x03.avi" and "My Show - 1x03.en.avi"

Does that help explain why it isn't working? I'll look at putting an option in to rename anything in the tv show folder, not just video files, so that subtitle files added later will also get renamed.

hi there, I use Tvrename for a few weeks now, and although I find it really useful and well thought I also miss the fact that it would be able to "see" and rename and move a subtitle file when the video file has already been moved, or when the name is not exactly the same (as mentioned somewhere else sometime the subtitle comes a few days after the episode), preventing a fully automated course execution.

I don't know if a lot of people here will use this feature nor the amount of work involved in this, but if you can find time to implement this it would be really great!
thanks!
