Renaming suggestions.

Ive got a few shows that have blank episode names on TVDB, so on my drive i rename them 01 - Episode 1, 01 - Episode 2 etc. When i do a rename check tvrenamer wants to rename them to "01 -", "02 -" etc. Would it be possible to ignore the blank tvdb episode names in the future, so they dont get flagged?

Also on tvdb Star Trek - TNG has an episode 0 in season 1, which is a joined version of episodes 1 + 2. When i do a rename tvrenamer picks this up as episode 1 and then all the other episodes are bumped up an episode number, it happens on a couple of other shows too, can episode 0's be ignored somehow?

For the blank episodes, I'll make it so that TVRename automatically names them "Episode 1", etc. Can you point me at a series/season on thetvdb that has these blank names, so I can test it?

For ST:TNG, that episode 0 is probably an entry that shouldn't be in their database, it if it really is just E01 and E02. You can post to their forums here and ask that that episode 0 be deleted, or let me know that there really wasn't an episode 0 and I'll post there and ask (since I'm already registered).

I've fixed up a couple of bugs to do with "rules" and the handling of "episode 0". Grab the alpha that I'll be uploading later today. In there, you can set it to ignore "episode 0" (expand the show in "My Shows", click on the season, click "Edit", add a new rule) -- though getting thetvdb's data right would probably be the best solution in this case.

For a show with blank names, Steel Angel Kurumi is probably a good example, that has no episode names on TVDB.

The Startrek TNG thing was discussed on the TVDB forums before, they seem to want to leave it that way, although it makes no sense to me.

Ive posted in the bugs forum about the episode 0 problem, the alpha seems to work ignoring them, but if i have merged episodes 1 + 2 in a season, it will shift all the episode numbering up 1, so the season then starts from episode 0 and throws off all the other episodes in that season.

New alpha version is up, which automatically names blank episodes as their episode number.

Also looks like thetvdb has removed that episode 0 in season 1, from ST:TNG.
