How do I prevent a torrent that has finished downloading from seeding? I am a frequent torrent downloader. I use bit torrent. Whenever my download finished it automatically starts to seed. I don't want my torrent to seed. Is there any way I can stop this torrent from seeding immediately after the torrent has finished downloading? Thanks!

You should always seed, even if it's for 30mins or an hour...how do you think you got the files that you just downloaded? It's all because of seeders, people who have the completed file downloaded & allow peers like yourself download parts of the file. If you want to leach, which is highly discourage & frowned upon & exactly what you want to do, open up preferences. Go to Queuing, check the box under "When uTorrent reaches the seeding goal" & type 0 in the box on the right. Next change the numbers in the "Seeding Goal" section as followed; Minimum Ratio = 0, Minimum Seeding Time = 0, Minimum Number of Seeds = 0.
After that, click OK, & that's it...you're officially a lecher, one of the most hated uTorrent users out on the web. I will also note that most people that know how to use uTorrent, or other torrent programs, have it set up to not seed files to lechers like yourself. But to each their own...ya know?

Also, Why is this in feature requests?
Totally wrong section, & forum really, to be asking this.
