Show folder keeping tabs

Not sure whether to submit as a bug or a feature.. :P
Basically, the moment i add a rule , or edit an existing show, and click on OK, the focus is lost from the show and the shows list reset to the top.
Can you pleas change this , so that the focus stays on the current show/season after making a change?
I normally go down the list adding rules to some of the shows, and its a bit irritating when i have to scroll back every time.
:D

thank you

EDIT:
Same problem with the "pull down" on the episode guide. Thx

Both of those bugs have been fixed in the version to be released next.

Problem as described above, still exists for b22. If I add rules, or change the folder locations for a show, i am returned to the top of the list. The show stays highlighted though.
PS.
Cant remember which topic, but i also experience delays (>1min) when editing a show ( rules/names/folders).
this delay happens when i click on the show at first(20secs), and also when i close the dialog after editing the rules(1min). This happens for clicking on "OK" and "CANCEL" as well.

Hope you manage to streamline this. Let me know if you require any input ( maybe my shows database? )

Thx

I can fix the thing where it goes to the top of the list easily (famous last words!)

I'm also going to throw in a quick option to select whether or not old shows are displayed in the shows & folders list. Less items means it'll be quicker.

If you can send me a copy of your TVRenameSettings.xml file, I'll see what I can do about making it more responsive when you're working with a large number of items. zip/7Zip/bzip/gzip/rar it up, and email it to tvrename [at] tvrename.com

That file lives in:
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\TVRename\TVRename\2.0\TVRenameSettings.xml
Vista: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\TVRename\TVRename\2.0\TVRenameSettings.xml

Ok. Will send the file as requested.
Something interesting regarding the speed as i discovered this morning. the speed of accessing the details of a show, and also saving the changes, is directly related to how far down the list i am.
IE.
on the show 24, i can change things and get results in less than a second. X-files on the other hand takes about 20-30 seconds.

PS.
Some of my old shows is not marked automatically as old. Andy idea what can be the reason for this? It is a very minor percentage, so i will probably resort to doing them manually.

thx

File received, thanks. I'll have a look at it sometime within the next week. The fact that its slower for ones down the list might be a good clue, too. :)

Can you tell me which of the shows its not automatically picking up as "old"? (a couple of examples would do)

Fixed, fixed and fixed! Having your shows database was a great help. Grab the b23 version (once I've uploaded it, probably an hour or so from now).

Selecting items in the shows list is now fast. I was accidentally doing something silly that was slowing it down.

After editing a show's details, the show list should stay in the same position, and not scroll to the top.

Finally.. The old show auto detection will now work on seasons of shows that have episodes without an airdate on tv.com (e.g. Charmed, Season 1).
