I get annoyed with having to redownload meta info all the time. I have been trying to create local metadata for each show and episode.
If tvrename could create and use a show meta data for each show and only update them if we told it to.
show.meta
showname
#episodes
ep1 name
ep2 name
....
this could be reloaded easly also if you had to reinstall.
*******The main reason for it is to allow for shows not listed on tvdb
I think there is a tvshow.nfo that is used by xbmc or series.xml that popcorn uses neither contain episodes/season. which would be needed to list unknown shows.
With this you can have meta files for unlisted shows and be able to use tvrename to list missing shows you are looking for then. like anamie documentaries dramas euro shorts. etc.
