Hi.
Now that a few of my friends have got HTPCs, we're swapping our collections with each other. I like to d/l 720p stuff, my friends don't like to use that much bandwidth.
A lot of the time we download the same episodes do when we swap shows, I give them the HD versions.
What would be really great is if tvrename could use mediainfo.dll to scan the details of all the files and keep that in a database. Then, if you have another copy of a show that's in HD rather than Sd, tvrename could ask if you want to replace your SD copy with the HD file in the monitor folder.
It would be useful with older SD stuff as well that might have been encoded to a smaller size or using an older, less efficient version of a codec.
