features related to time, statistics, tags etc

I am of course new here but I am thoroughly impressed with this project (I hope you enjoyed your drink of XXXX :) )

I tried looking for features similar to the ones I have in mind, but a quick search led to nothing, so here it goes:

the idea is enabling the user (or watcher) to find out how much time he has spent watching his favourite tv episodes, how much time he needs to catch up with the ones he has downloaded but has not watched yet, etc

for that we need a tickbox in a "Seen it" column and an editable "Episode length" property. I know this latter piece of information is kept at tvdb.com with ads included, but it can easily be user re-defined by hand for individual or grouped tv series. on the Add/Edit show pop-up window's advanced tab there is plenty of space for an editbox to re-enter a minute value or a few radiobuttons with the usual episode lengths of 42 or 24 minutes; it can even be estimated based on the episode length picked up from tvdb. the "Seen it" property is just easy to maintain as the ignore list or the renaming (I don't know how easy it is to implement though) and can give some pretty interesting (or scary) statistics coupled with existing information about a particular series/episode.

another statistical feature might be genre related - it would be interesting to see what percentage of your tv stuff is labelled at tvdb.com as action or comedy, what percentage of these genres have you actually seen etc...

or there is a weekly schedule to expand on the current "When to watch". one could click on any given week in the calendar and the schedule would show what was/will be on the tv that week Monday to Sunday.

or statistics based on years - were you watching more series in 2008 than 2010? Which year had the most 1-season (burst-bubble) shows in your collection?

or stats based on the number of seasons - how many series do you have that lasted a year or two or more?

I know I'm bit a of statistics freak, but there might just be others like me out there who not only collect their usual episodes but they also would like to know more about their collection - and their hidden preferences and/or viewing habits.

thanks for reading :)
