Find/Move Files

HI

First thanks for the program I am finding it quite useful at the moment.

I do have an idea, I don't know how easy this can be done or if it can be done at all but here goes...

I uses the feeds option in Utorrent to get what I want and once the files have finished utorrent moves them to a "holding" directory, I then have tvrename watching this folder under the finding and Organising tab which I have to go into to click Find and then move Copy, What I am thinking is, is there a way to have tvrename automatically do this when ever a file goes in that folder that matches the parameters I have already set for new shows/missing etc? Using a service or something?? Just a thought.

This would then give me a nice automated setup from download through to final folder location.

Yeah... I was planning on (eventually) having tvrename monitor your download folder(s), and automatically move files whenever they appeared. Of course, the move wouldn't succeed until uTorrent stopped seeding from the file. If you like to see until 1:1 ratio, that might be a while.

My other trick I was planning was having RSS integration in TVRename, so that it'd when a new torrent is available (matching series, season and episode in the RSS data). It'd then download the torrent, put in a "save-to" location, then pass it onto uTorrent. uTorrent would then download it directly to the correct location, and with the correct filename. Handy if you want to keep on seeding it for a few weeks, because it'd have a nice name (at your end). At the moment, its a hassle to stop the seeding, move/rename the file, then right click->advanced->select download location->clickclicklcick->resume seeding. (only caveat being that it has to be a single-file torrent). That could all be automated too, so no interaction required (unless you turned on an optional confirmation).

At least, that's my plan :) Its a feature I want myself, so it'll happen (relatively) soon.

Cool it will be a nice feature as and when it appears :)

Cheers for all your hard work on this.

Actually, you can already run a script after downloading in utorrent. Right click on the file, Advanced. This can also be done based on the label, so you don't have to set this for each download.
I do this to copy the tv shows into their supposed directory. Every now and then, i clear my torrent incoming-folder from old files.
