Can I change the default new show settings?

Hello everyone,

I'm new to tvrenamer, but so far have had a good experience. I am adding my shows one by one because I am trying to change the file structure that I have. I want to set some things so I don't have to change them each time I add a new show. I have about 100 TV shows. Some of the things I want to set are

Airs in time zone (set to Pacific)
Folders per season, base name (Set this to be name of base folder then a space, dot, etc and the word season)
Pad season number to 2 digits (set to checked)
Include future episodes (set to checked)

Thanks for this great product

At the moment, it isn't possible to set the defaults - they're built in. It would definitely be helpful to define a template for the show's folder, so it can be automatically filled in.

As a workaround, if you're confident editing the configuration file (saved in XML), then you could add all your shows, quit tvrename, make a backup copy of the settings file, then do a text search-and-replace in the config file. (See here for the file locations.)

Ah, well then that answers my question.

I was looking for the same thing so I could set "Ignore Extras" to Always checked, change "Season " to "S" on the Season folder, set "Pad with 0" to checked, and "Include no airdate" as always checked.

Oh well, thanks anyway. Hopefully a future version although I didn't see it mentioned on http://tvrename.com/features/ as one of the potential new features (unless I missed it).

Great app overall has allowed me to sort a bunch of my TV shows.

Thanks.
