I've used 2.2.0b3 and 2.2.0a7 and I still can't get this working.

I have downloaded all my shows into a folder called c:\UnsortedTV, using T.e.d. (I got a random sample of stuff to test).
Glee.S01E14.HDTV.XviD-LOL.[VTV].avi
House.S06E16.Lockdown.HDTV.XviD-FQM.avi
Parenthood.2010.S01E01.Pilot.HDTV.XviD-FQM.avi
Parenthood.2010.S01E03.HDTV.XviD-2HD.avi
Parenthood.2010.S01E04.HDTV.XviD-LOL.avi
Parenthood.2010.S01E05.The.Situation.HDTV.XviD-FQM.avi
Pawn Stars - s02e27 - Bow Legged.avi
The Big Bang Theory - s03e19 - The Wheaton Recurrence.avi
THE.SOUP.12-12-08.XviD.avi

All, I want to do is rename the files, and move them to their respective folders in c:\TVShows
In TV Rename, my settings are:
MY Shows - All my shows listed.
Under each show, I have a base folder and Folder per season selected c:\TVshows\<ShowName>
Under Preferences, Search Folders, I have c:\UnsortedTV listed

Under File Template editor, {ShowName} - S{Season:2}E{Episode}[-E{Episode2}] - {EpisodeName}

When I click on Scan, Options, if I uncheck Missing Check, then nothing comes up. If I leave it checked, I get a list of hundreds of missing episodes.

How do I enable this so all it does is rename the shows, and put them in the right directory?

OK, you are not understanding the way the application works.
You add a show & the application will download the information about all episodes. When you do a scan it essentially marks off all the episodes that it can find in your final folder ( c:\TVshows\<ShowName>) , leaving a list of missing episodes. It then scans your new location (c:\UnsortedTV ) for any files that match the list of missing episodes.

So if you run a scan - yes, as designed, it will give you a list of everything it could not find - this is so that you can go and find it if you want to. If there are seasons for a show that you are not interested in you can ignore the season in two ways -
  1. 1. go into the settings of a show in the My Shows tab and fill in the appropriately named "Ignore seasons" box, or
    2. in the "Missing episodes" scan list you can right click on an episode and you get the option to ignore that episode or the entire season that that episode comes from.[/list:u]

    * Scroll down the "list of hundreds of missing episodes" and find the next sections - renaming; moving etc.

NOTE: if the episodes you have listed in your example already exist, then they are not missing and will not be found as ready to copy.

NOTE: from your test set - The Soup will not be recognised as it doesn't have a season and episode identifier.

    Hope this helps
