Unable to check checkboxes after Scan/not finding episodes?

So I just upgraded from an old version, 2.1.1a6 to 2.2.0b5 and trying to figure out how to use the new version. I ran a scan which returns a lot of missing episodes (I delete them after I watch them typically). However, it's showing some missing episodes that I know I have and I want it to rename them and move them.

I have a search folder set for where I've downloaded the new episodes, but it doesn't seem to find the files. The previous version found almost all of my files when I first installed it, but it didn't work on these others either. I try checking the boxes but it doesn't let me do this, is that because it didn't find an episode in the search folder that matches the missing episode?

Filename example in the search folder: criminal.minds.0521.avi

You can't check the boxes under the Missing section. Since the don't represent files there's nothing that can be done with them so the check boxes aren't active in that section of the list. They're only displayed for the sake of consistency. To get the actions you could do with the Missing list, right click on any of the files in the missing list.

As for the unrecognized files;
Click Options -> Filename Processors and hit the Defaults button then run the scan again and see if your shows get picked up.
If not, go back into the Filename Processors screen and hit the Browse button and select your search folder. Uncheck all the boxes in the Enabled column in the top portion of the screen and then enable them one at a time until you find one that recognizes the file(s) that weren't getting picked up. You might have to play with enabling and disabling some to get all your shows to be recognized correctly. If you mess something up, you can always hit the defaults button.

And if all else fails and you can't find a regex that works, you can right click on the file in the missing list and choose "Browse For" and select the correct file manually. Once selected it'll add it to the Move/Copy/Rename section at which point you can click Do Checked and TV Rename will handle it just as if it had found it automatically.

But all that was for future reference. For the easy answer, to get TV Rename to recognize a file named criminal.minds.0521.avi, go into the Filename Processor screen and enable the second checkbox in the list, click OK, and the rerun your scan. It should get picked up.
