Airdate in Search Folder

I wanted to check if anyone else is running into this problem...

The new airdate feature is awesome, but it will only recognize the show if it is in the proper season folder.

i.e. If I put my new daily show episode in its daily show\season 15\ folder it is recognized and renamed.
If it is put in to the unsorted folder (included in the search folder) it is not detected to be renamed or moved.

Anyone know anything about this?
