Which Folder settings results in Move?, in ReName?

I need a bit of help understanding which folder search settings result in copy/move actions and rename actions.

Here are the places where the program lets you ID Folders:
In Preferences / Search Folders, there is a place to identify Search Folders.
For each show / Edit, you can identify the Automatic Folder.
For each show / Edit / Advanced, you can identity Manual/Additional Folders for specific seasons.

What I've not figured out, is which of the above program settings does what?

Here's my specific situation:
I'd like to copy all my downloaded files to one folder as I get them,
let's say C:\Vids\TV_2rename
Then, I'll run the Scan feature and TVr will rename all the files, and automatically move them all to a common second folder,
let's say C:\Vids\TV_2watch

And as I watch each show, I append to their file name a "_" that tells me that I've watched it, (and that the file is complete and 'clean").
Finally, at my convenience, I run a simple DOS-batch file that moves all "*_.avi" files to another folder for future re-watching if desired).

This lets me both have consistently named shows, and also know which files have been watched.
