Swift & Shift Couriers

Steve, Happy New Year!

I'm not exactly sure what's going on with the SBS series called Swift & Shift couriers (http://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=83596). TVRename picks up the TVDB episode information just fine, but doesn't want to rename or even acknowledge that the files in my directory exist.

My directory listing is below. As you can see, I've tried a few different name combos to try and get TVRename to pick up the files, but so-far no luck.
D:\Media\TV Series\Swift and Shift Couriers\Season 1>dir /b
Swift and Shift S01E01.PDTV.XviD-WFC.avi
Swift.&.Shift.Couriers.S01E02.PDTV.XviD-WFC.avi
Swift.&.Shift.Couriers.S01E03.PDTV.XviD-WFC.avi
Swift.&.Shift.Couriers.S01E04.PDTV.XviD-WFC.avi
Swift.&.Shift.Couriers.S01E05.PDTV.XviD-WFC.avi
Swift.&.Shift.Couriers.S01E06.PDTV.XviD-WFC.avi
Swift.&.Shift.Couriers.S01E08.PDTV.XviD-WFC.avi.avi
Swift.&.Shift.Couriers.S01E09.PDTV.XviD-WFC.avi
swift.and.shift.couriers.s01e07.noair.xvid-ss.avi

I'm using the default RegEx's, nothing fancy added there.
The only setting I've changed from default is added the .asf extension as a watched extn.

Any thought on what could be happening here?

Hi Tim..

It works ok for me here.. Can you edit the show in "My Shows" and double check that "Do Renaming" is in the default state of being on, and that the correct base folder is entered ("D:\Media\TV Series\Swift and Shift Couriers"), and that "Folder per Season" is on, with the season text being "Season ".

If you go to Help->Bug Reports, turn on just "Folder Scan" and hit "create", you should get something like:

83596 : Swift and Shift Couriers : S1
Folder: C:\temp\tvrenametest\ssc\
C:\temp\tvrenametest\ssc\Swift and Shift S01E01.PDTV.XviD-WFC.avi (OK 1,1 Y)
C:\temp\tvrenametest\ssc\Swift.&.Shift.Couriers.S01E02.PDTV.XviD-WFC.avi (OK 1,2 Y)
[etc.]

Can you copy+paste what you get on yours? You should be able to confirm that it is looking in the correct folder, seeing all the files there, and if it is getting the season and episode numbers right (i.e. what is in brackets).

Steve, my sincere apologies and heartfelt thanks - This was a plain-and-simple PEBKAC error.
The "Folder per Season" check was not on when it should have been. The in-folder renaming now works perfectly! :)

Except...
The Finding and Organising (searching my completed torrents folder) (still) isn't working for this series either :(

Let me delete the show folder and start again....

Thanks again :)
Tim

Edit:
Re: Finding and Organising - This was what I was originally trying to do (and failed), so I copied the files into the "production" TV Series folder. As I said, the file renaming now works, but after removing the "production" files, doing a Missing Ep Search (which finds them as correctly missing), the "Find" function doesn't pick them up from the torrents folder.
I deleted the show from My Shows and re-added it again, but to no effect.

Thought?

Cool. No problem.

Try changing the "&" to the word "and" in your filenames. Finding and Organising looks for the show name in the filename of what it picks up. So, if the show name is "Swift and Shift", then it won't match "Swift & Shift" in the filename. Alternatively, edit the show and set a custom name of "Swift & Shift".

For future versions of TVRename, I'll look into making "&" match "and".

Edit: That should be "Swift &/and Shift Couriers".

Perfect! Both suggestions worked.

Thanks for your help again.

Cheers,
