My tv library is spread across several hard disks and from time to time I need to move entire series from one hard disk to another.
Whenever this happens, the folder paths in TvRename become incorrect which means the program cannot find the shows.
However, instead of telling me this, the program simply crashes in an unexplained way when I click "scan" and it reaches the "media library check" phase of the process.
This is especially bad on shows where I have added in manual/additional folders on the second tab of the description page.
The number one issue:
Tvrename simply crashes when it cannot find a specified folder AND DOES NOT TELL ME WHICH FOLDER IT CANNOT FIND.
I therefore have to manually go through the list of tv shows trying to figure out where the program is getting confused.
Solution:
Just pop me up a window when this happens that says "tvrename cannot find folder XXXXXX" and then terminate the search. I can manually go i and fix this, but it is hard to do when I have to visually check all of the paths without knowing where the problem happened.
This problem has existed at least since 2.2.0b3 (and I am currently on 2.2.0b9, but have had the same problem on 2.2.0b5 and 2.2.0b7)
