Ignore Rule affects more episodes than wanted

Hi there.
If I add a Rule, which "Ignore"'s S00E00 of "Top Gear" (74608), the result is that S00E01 ist also ignored.
Another minor bug: If I click on "Cancel" in the rule-dialog, it doesn't cancel. All changes are made to the rules.
Thanks a lot!

Thanks for letting me know. I'll look into it (and the ignoring the extra episode thing has been reported by someone else too, so you're not alone :))

I saw a similar issue, but this one may have other roots.

I have three shows: Project Runway, Project Runway Australia, and Project Runway Canada

PR is on S06
PRC is on S02
PRA is on S02

I told TVRename to ignore seasons 1-5 of PR, but it also caused those episodes to be ignored for the other shows. This is probably more due to the naming than anything else, but it's definitely an Ignore problem.

The only way to get them to show up was to force the "Missing Check is for All Episodes" checkbox.

Regarding Project runway - Just had a quick look at the data on TheTVDB & noticed that there are no air dates on Season 2 of PRC, so they will not show up as Missing in TVRename unless you tick the "Missing Check for all episodes" box. TVRename will only display episodes that have already aired as missing unless you check that box. If there is no air date then it doesn't know if they are coming up or in the past. Always check the data for this type of problem.

When you say I told TVRename to ignore seasons 1-5 of PR- how. As in which method did you use to ignore the seasons. Steve will need this type of info if he wants to try to reproduce your problem.

As I've mentioned before, I'm not having any issues with the "Ignore S00E00"-issue. I have it in several shows, but no problems what-so-ever.

I told it to ignore via the Series Properties "Ignore Seasons".

Good point about the air dates, however this didn't affect only the second season of PRC, it affected all seasons of both shows. It (appears) that it was due to the fact that the spinoff shows are both prefixed by the name of the original show, therefore the missing checks were seeing them as if they were the original and not the spinoff.

I've just tried it here, using 2.2.0a5, and it seems ok.

I created three empty folders:
c:\temp\test\Project Runway
c:\temp\test\Project Runway Canada
c:\temp\test\Project Runway Australia

Added the three shows (using folder monitor). Went into the first and ignored "1 2 3 4 5". Went to the Scan tab and did a check, and am missing 33 episodes. All of seasons 1 and 2 of Canada+Australia, and all of season 6 of USA.

Can you see anything I might be doing differently to you?
