Since ive upgraded to the new version the first thing i did was go to scan, when i tried to scan it poped up to say "can't find directory blah" so i choose to browse and found that the path was exactly the same. After choosing the directory it continued to the next folder from the show (ie season 2) and did the same thing.

my collection is stored on a WHS server with a drive mapping so i had a problem with eg.
Z:\TV\24\Season 1 (message came up folder not found create/ignore/browse)
After browsing to that exct same folder if accepted it and went on.. to Season 2 etc..

I got tired of doing that so clicked ignore all (since ive got thousands of dirs..)

However now i have found that tvrename isnt finding half the shows that are there. ie, there is no "watch" button when browsing the show descriptions.

When i get home i might try removing my whole library and letting folder scan pick it up again.

I removed and reinstalled the new version and deleted all my old settings

Once i add my folder (Z:\TV) to folder monitor and hit scan it finds everything

When i hit full auto it starts going through then an unhandled exception pops up

Hers the text from it:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

fixed the above, seems the show "Black Books" crashes it, i just removed blackbooks from the list before running the full auto thingy

Next problem is i pressed scan and its sitting on "Currently Downloading:" with nothing there and 0 on the progress bar.

Grab alpha 2 (or anything later) and that should stop it getting stuck.

Black Books was indeed upsetting it. There was some wonky data in the show's description (in one of the foreign languages) on TheTVDB. I've edited it there, and it should be ok now (or in about 30 minutes when it trickles through to the data that TVRename uses). Given how often this sort of things happens, I might (well, I probably should anyway) put some effort into making TVRename cope better in this sort of situation.
