Missing info items

Is there a time delay on when missing items will be scanned for processing. I have a little over 20,000 episodes, have all options checked in the options settings, and click scan once, and have a few things to update, i.e. tvshow.info, a few tbn's and a few episode nfo's. Click do checked, and everything done. Then click again on scan, and only missing episodes are found, no other actions, yet if I close or wait about an hour, click scan again, then have a bunch more info's and tbns to update. I have even tried clicking the check a few times and nothing appears, so not sure if it is a feature of the scanner to not scan so much within a period of time or a limit on the number of thumbs/nfo to download or create.

Yeah, its an issue I know about - though the fact you have to wait half an hour isn't expected.

The reason is that it creates TBN/NFO files to go with AVI files. If you go Scan->Do Checked->Scan, on the first scan, the AVI file isn't there so it is marked as missing and it looks for a file to move/copy across. After the "Do", on the second "Scan", the file has now been copied over so the TBN/NFO files are now missing.

The reason for it being this way is that if you don't have the AVI file, then you probably don't need or want the TBN/NFO files for it.

However, I have a plan to make it so that the TBN/NFO checker is doing it's thing, it also looks at files that are anticipated to be moved/copied across, and adds TBN/NFO items for them too.

Many thanks, had noticed that also. What is more strange is on each 30 minute scan it will have more tvshow.nfo even though have added no new series, just seems to not update all at once.

On the file handler for tbn/nfo, would it be possible to complete all in one run, i.e. copy/rename + nfo/tbn (also renamed)

Yeah, I'm going to try and make it work so it all happens in one run.
