Hi There,

Each time I try to do a scan, I get an error message ; "Illegal Characters in Path" - I am accessing networked drives in the scan, but previously this has never been a problem.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to stop this error message, the scan never completes, restarting the program does nothing to fix this.

If I need to post any more info let me know, I will get anything that is required.

Great program !! Loved it for the past 6months !!

I seen this on some shows on lan drives also
When I looked at the folder path it looked ok but.
I just had to go to each show and click edit and browse to the folder that click ok that fixed it.

hope it works for you. till he figures it out.

Its possible that there is a 'weird' filename somewhere on your server, or an illegal character has got into TVRename's settings.

If you don't have too many shows, you could try deleting a few at a time (start with ones you may have added recently, and just don't do a "save" when you quit) and re-do the scan to find out which one is the cause. Once you find which one it is, look closely at the folder name set in TVRename (perhaps re-select it as pzam suggests), and at the actual folders on your server. If your server is another Windows machine, you could try doing a scandisk on it.

Does the scan progress dialog come up? If so, where in the scan is it when you get the error? (e.g. missing files/renaming/search locally/etc.)
