New Show fails to rename

Ok heres there scenerio
I have a new show folder that I want to get files renamed in
I add the show to tv rename, set it up how all the other shows are
then I click 'scan' - it doesn't rename any of the files...
however if I quit out of the program and then start it again and scan...magically it now finds them and renames them..
I can only assume that because i haven't saved the changes/additions i've made then it doesn't read them...which is a bit of a flaw as I have added what I wanted to the program, it should read the new show and scan for it successfully.

I coded up a renamer (TV Whore) for myself a couple of years back, but gave up on updating it once i saw yrs...

Sometimes immediately after adding a show, TVRename doesn't always download all the data it needs from TheTVDB, so doesn't think the that show has any episodes. I haven't noticed any pattern to when/why this is happening, yet.

To see if this is the same bug affecting you: when it fails to find any files to rename, have a look at the show's episode guide on the "My Shows" tab, and see if there are any episodes listed there (if it is this bug, there will just be the show overview, and nothing else). A workaround to try is right-clicking on the show, and choosing "Force Refresh".
