Are you maybe able to add a feature to export to : excel/ comma delimted for my missing eps list?
Would like to send this to a friend to see if he can help with missing episodes for example. Screenshots of my 200+ eps list can be a bit of a bother. .
:D

Thx for the great app!

Good feature request, this could also be interesting for me to use.

Vote +1 from me :)

Yep, that'd be quite easy to do. I'll do both comma separated (CSV), and XML versions.

I guess the next step is using TVRename to save a list of what you have, and which you then give to another TVRename user. When it tries to find missing episodes, as well as checking your download directory it can check those shared lists.

Step one is the easy part, so I'll put that into the next version I release.. Hopefully in a week or so.

Can you maybe add it again please? while your at it, will it be possible to export the Shows page as well (ie all episodes in database)

Thank you

I think I removed/disabled it while doing the migration to thetvdb, and forgot to put it back in. I'll do it for the next version I upload.

If you want the entire show database, it's in c:\documents and settings\<username>\application data\tvrename\thetvdb.xml (XP) or c:\users\<username>\appdata\roaming\tvrename\thetvdb.xml (Vista). I could very easily add a menu option to save a copy to any specified location+filename. Or.. Do you want just an export of the currently selected show and, optionally, specific season?

I most likely want access to the whole database (preferrably only the shows i have on disk, but i think that will be difficult). Second prize will then be off course to have the complete database and then a list of episodes that is missing.

Can you maybe recommend a software which can open a tvrename XML? internet explorer fails horribly (probably due to the 42MB size....) :)

Thank you very much

I just use a text editor for viewing/searching/modifying the XML. I don't know of any specialised tools for the job. If you're after a text editor, I've heard that UltraEdit is good. I use emacs, but that's not the most friendly of programs. Otherwise, I'd google for XML viewers or editors.

Its back, along with export of the renaming and finding&organising lists. You'll have to grab the alpha I've just uploaded (see here), or wait for the "real" release of 2.1.1 sometime next month.
