Ignore/Hide Missing Episodes

I would like to request a feature that can Ignore/Hide Missing Episodes. That list gets to be long and some of the files I know I can't get or don't care to. So if I could hide select episodes it would be easier to look through the list at the missing episodes that are important to me. I don't want to never see them again because I may go back and try to find them at a later date.

That feature is already there. In the My Shows tab highlight a season (not show, but the specific season) with episodes you want to ignore. Click the Edit button at the bottom of the page and you will be shown the season list and the current Rules list for that season. Click add and then choose the ignore option. You can ignore each episode individually if you really want to or a sequence by putting in a start and end number. Have a look and you will work it out pretty quickly.

I have thought in the missing tab there should be an option to highlight episodes and select to ignore, thus putting in rules about those episodes.

Yeah, there are a couple of ways I could do this. I could make it so that you can right click episode(s) and automatically make "Ignore" rules for them. To make it easier to un-ignore episode, I could have a window that lists all the ignored episodes in one place, and lets you easily un-ignore them by just selecting them and clicking a button... rather than having to click through each show and season one-by-one.

I've been thinking about doing something like this for a while, so I'll look at putting it in "soon".

Thanks ScopD for pointing that out to me. Thats works for what I need to do for now. I would definitely like an easier way to do it. The way you suggested it sstteevvee sounds like it would work great.

This is my first post here, so first I'd like to say thanks to sstteevvee for a great app!

I was going to suggest adding some checkboxes to the Missing search to "Ignore Specials", and "Ignore Old Seasons" (ie any season the latest) since I only keep the latest season of my shows, and manually entering all the seasons to ignore was a bit painful.

The suggested idea for managing this though would mean neither of those would really be needed.

Just a small/not really necessary addition to this. Personally I would find it nice to have a check box in the options screen to globally turn off Searching of specials. I know they can be ignored when being first set up. They can also be ignored in the way ScopD pointed out. So like I said not necessary but if you want to through it in I wouldn't mind.

On a side note, I tried to do what ScopD suggested on the special folders and they are still showing up missing, even though I have set them to be ignored....
On season episodes it works fine..

I can easily throw in an option to always ignore specials.

At the moment, to ignore specials you just need to edit the show itself in "My Shows" and add season 0 (zero) to the list of seasons to ignore.
