I have an interesting problem. I have an old download of "Ducktales" that are named like "Duck Tales - 008 - Til Nephews Do Us Part.avi" and I would normally just use Bulk Rename Utility to replace the first 0 with a "S01E" but I noticed that the episodes aren't numbered correctly. They all have the correct episode title, but the numbers don't match up to thetvdb.
Is there any way to get TV Rename to look at the Episode Title instead of the number? Or indeed is there any way out of this other than going through and renaming each one by hand?
EDIT: I actually found a solution to this before the topic was approved. Thanks to Mech_Man's post in the "Waste of Time" thread, I made a batch script using an excel spreadsheet to build each line from the episode title and episode number. The result was this:
