periods instead of spaces

First off... this program is going to save more time than I'll know what to do with. Expect a drink soon.

Secondly, the only thing I can't get working right thus far is that when it renames my files its putting spaces in the Show Name instead of leaving the . (periods) in there. I have gone through the forum and don't quite understand how to get this right.

I would let it go just fine, but I use Media Portal TV Series to watch these on multiple HTPCs, and redoing the databases for that would take longer than posting in here and hoping for help

1TB of shows takes a LONG time to index over lan.

Sorry to hash up a 3 year old post, but I've dug through the forums and can't figure this one out. How do you remove the spaces on the file rename and use either periods or underscores?

I know you can do this with "Custom Name" for the SeriesName, but EpisodeName still gives you spaces. Not sure how to correct, seems here this was resolved, just can't figure it out. Thanks.

Try Options > Preferences > Files and Folders > Filename Replacements

Tell it to replace a space with a dot.

See how that goes.
