Hi again, I have a couple of more questions.

- Is it possible to tell the program to ignore special episodes when checking for missing episodes other then pressing ignore always for every show when scanning?
- Is it possible to tell the program to ignore singe episodes? This is for double episodes.
- Is it possible to unignore episodes and seasons?
- Is it possible for the program to move and rename files from a download-directory and to my TV-series folderstructure?

Say I have a file named Eureka.S01.E01 in \\anubis\media\usortert\download

Can the program rename it and move it so that it looks like this:
\\anubis\media\TV-series\eureka\eureka - Season 1\ Eureka - S01E01 - Pilot

I do it on a weekly basis.

SETTING UP
Welcome to the world of TVRename. You need to set up your shows and where you want them put firstly. There are a couple of ways to do that. If you have lots of shows you can add the top level folder (using your example \\anubis\media\TV-series) into the Folder monitor tab. Click Check and the app will try to work out from your folder names and your directory structure what shows you have and if you have split them into seasons etc. This can take a while to get it all set up, but the pain is definitely worth it in the long term and you only need to do this once.

EDITING SHOWS AND SEASONS
Once you have your shows set up you can go to the MyShows tab and edit specific thing on a show by show basis, such as ignoring the specials season (put a zero in the ignore season box as specials are season 0 from the database). Highlight a show and click the edit button. You can also click on a season and then click the edit button to edit the season. You apply rules, such as merge to make two episodes into one or ignore to ignore an episode etc.

MOVING FILES
Run a missing check from the missing tab. This will get the list of files that it can't find. Go to the Finding and organising Tab and add the directory that has unsorted files in it (your example \\anubis\media\usortert\download). Then click Find. It will find the files and attempt to match them with a known missing entry. It will display what the file is currently called and where it is going to move it to and what it is going to rename it to. If you are happy then click the move/copy button.

Thank you very much, I'll give it a shot.

But another thing, there seems to be a problem with Season 5 of "Lost" where TVrename wants S05E01 to be named "Destiny Calls", but that's S05E00, not a big problem in itself, but the error renames the rest of the season with the name for the next episode aswell. Is there anyway to fix this?

Edit: The split function fixed it.

ScoopD: Thanks for answering :)

zicoz: You can un-ignore a season (e.g. if you told it to ignore it when it couldn't find its folder) by going to the "My Shows" tab, selecting the show, then hitting "Edit" at the bottom. Remove the ignored season number from the list of numbers about half-way down the dialog. To un-ignore an episodes, you just go back into the dialog for setting up the season rules, and remove the relevant rule.
