Shows w/ Year in Name -> How do you tweak the settings?

I have two different shows that have the year in the title. (ie - ShowTitle.2009.s02.e01)

The year seems to be throwing off the renaming / missing / and organizing and is totally ignoring the files. Any ideas of what I need to tweak to get them to see the files without removing 2009 from all the files? If I remove the year everything works like it should. Seems like an necessary step though.

Started digging around and found an answer to my own question in a discussion about the Filename Processors.
