Is there an easy way to downgrade from 2.2.0 to 2.1.0? I really need the batch support, and I'd appreciate not having to enter all the shows manually again

The day after you posted that, I added command-line support back in 
Try version 2.2.0b3 (or version I'll be uploading later today). The option names have changed slightly since 2.1.0, though. Have a look at this thread: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=648 for more information.
To answer your question: There is no easy way, but you might be able to edit the "TVRenameSettings.xml" file, and remove all but the information about your series. All the other settings will then go back to their defaults.
