TV Title Processing - Confused!

Hi!

I know there is a simple way and have looked but am still confused:

Eg: Shows like:
CSI- Crime Scene Investigation
regularly download simply as:
CSI.S11E10.whatever.etc.avi

How can I set it so CSI is recognised as CSI- Crime Scene Investigation.

At the moment it is not renamed because the name doesn't match.

Is it in File Name Processors - or what would I do in this.

There are a number of these - eg: Garrows Law needs to be named Garrows Law Tales from the Old Bailey etc.

Thanks
Ernie

I have found that some shows that have complex names in the database (TVdB), but typically download with simple names, (and CSI is a great example), can be recognized better by ReNamer if you use the Custom Show Name feature in TV Rename.

Try Editing CSI with a Custom Show Name of "CSI", and leave out the extra stuff. Then the TVR won't be looking for the additional words in the file title.

If you want your files to be explicitly different than the other CSI shows, then after you get a full season, go back and reset the Custom Show name to something like "CSI_LV" and "CSL_NY" and "CSI_M".

Or after you get the season, go back and change the Custom Name back to what you want it, and use Renamer again on these files.
